Some difficulties are made heavier by not knowing where to turn. This page states, in advance and exactly, what the Foundation’s support channel will be and what it will not be. It opens with incorporation.
Three constituencies whose bargaining position is systematically weaker than that of the party on the other side: employees facing wilful salary default, women facing coercion connected to their workplace, and home buyers facing developer default.
Charitable navigation. If you write to the Foundation, a member of the team reads your message, gives you general guidance on the framework that applies to your situation, and where appropriate refers you to competent legal counsel, a support organisation, or the authority with jurisdiction. There is no fee at any stage.
It is not legal representation and it is not a substitute for engaging an advocate. The Foundation is not a law firm, does not provide legal services, does not accept engagement, and does not enter client and attorney relationships. Writing to the Foundation creates no such relationship. If your situation needs an advocate, the right course is to engage one of your choice, and the Foundation’s guidance will help you understand what to ask.
Your identity and everything you write is held in strict confidence. It is not disclosed to your employer, to other employees, to a developer, or to any third party without your written consent. Your information is handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and is deleted after a defined period unless you consent in writing to longer retention.
