Alongside its work in court, the Legal Justice Wing prepares policy submissions, memoranda to Standing Committees of Parliament, and representations to Law Commissions and reform bodies.
This page is the Foundation’s public register of policy work. Every submission, memorandum, and representation the Foundation makes will be listed here with its date, addressee, and subject, and the full text will be linked where publication is appropriate. The areas of engagement are employee salary protection, workplace safety and dignity, consumer and home buyer protection, forced labour, and environmental restoration.
The first submissions are in preparation. The register will be populated as they are made.
The Foundation’s policy work follows the same discipline as its restoration work: honest description of the existing framework, precise identification of the gap, and a proposal proportionate to the problem. Every factual and legal claim in a Foundation submission carries its source. Advocacy for stronger employee protection draws on the models of Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 and Sections 15 to 24 of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act 2006, statutes that show how Parliament has previously converted routine default into deterrable conduct.
